#26: VICTORY OVER ALL
THE POWER OF THE EVIL ONE,
part three
Offering pure praise glorifies God
and silences the voices of evil spirits.
(Matthew 21:15-16, Psalm 8:2, 50:23)
The life-giving power of the Spirit of Christ from above
has set us free from the powers below of sin and death.
(Romans 8:2, Luke 24:49)
Jesus is building His Church on the rock of revelation
that He is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God.
And the evil plans and attacks that come
through the portals of hell against His Church
will not prevail.
(Matthew 16:15-18)
Evil which is cast out must be replaced with
submission to the Word of God, or else
a greater evil will come and fill the vacuum!
(Matthew 12:43-45, Luke 11:24-28)
By revelation from the Father a believer binds evil spirits,
forbidding them to operate on earth.
And by revelation a believer speaks and releases
heavenly blessings into the earth.
(Matthew 16:17-19)
When an unclean spirit enters a person,
the spirit is satisfied and at rest, while the person is tormented.
But when it is cast out, the spirit is tormented and restless,
and the person is free and at peace.
(Luke 11:20-26, Matthew 12:43-45)
The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy God’s blessings
in people’s lives;
But Jesus came to destroy and undo the bondage of the devil.
(John 10:10, I John 3:8)
As Christ is the Light of the world,
we believers are lights in the world.
As Christ destroyed the works of darkness,
we believers are called to destroy the works of darkness.
For as He is, so are we in this world.
(Matthew 5:14, John 8:12, 20:21, Philippians 2:15, Ephesians 5:8, I John 3:8, 4:17)
Although we Christians have tribulation in the world,
we take courage and rejoice, because Jesus our Lord
has overcome this world and its god with a permanent victory.
(John 16:33)
