#31: SEEKING THE LORD
AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF HIS KINGDOM
All those who truly seek for God with all their hearts
will find Him, for He is not far from any of us
and He rewards those who seek Him diligently.
(Acts 17:27-28, II Chronicles 16:9, Jeremiah 29:13-14, Isaiah 45:19, Hebrews 11:6)
All should seek to know God.
But some, even when the way is open for them
to find and know God, they refuse to recognize God
or to thank Him for His blessings.
(Romans 1:21, 28, Acts 17:27-28, Hebrews 11:6)
Wait for the revelation of Jesus Christ
as you seek God eagerly and patiently.
Then no good gift will be withheld from you.
(I Corinthians 1:4-7, Psalm 84:11)
The kingdom of heaven breaks in on the scene with its power,
taking territory by force.
And those who diligently seek God’s kingdom with fervent zeal
seize great opportunities.
(Matthew 11:12, Luke 16:16)
Ask for things that are good in God’s sight
and you will receive them.
Seek good things that will advance His kingdom,
and you will find them.
Knock, and good opportunities will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks for good things receives them.
And all who seek for good things find them.
And to those who continue to knock,
good opportunities will come.
(Luke 11:9-13, Psalm 84:11)
A disciple of Christ seeks to know Jesus more intimately
and to experience more of His resurrection power and life.
(Philippians 3:10)
Fortunate are those who enjoy fellowship with the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
they are partners with God and their joy becomes full.
(I John 1:3-7, II Corinthians 13:14, Psalm 16:11)
